Our live tribute to Michael Bublé will have you and your guests swaying along till the very last song with a set list combines Bublé’s greatest hits, stunning covers of the worlds favorite jazz artists and a few surprises; packaged together for a high octane, high energy live musical show.

From large theatres to local jazz clubs, Vavachi and World On A String, specially design each show to suit the venue and audience. The client has the power to decide everything- from the length of the show to the Bublé greatest hits included. We offer a full sized show; featuring the six piece Suited Up Swing Band and a state of the art light show provided by Aisle Six Entertainment. We also offer our You & I Lounge Show (duo show) which includes specially arranged piano sets of classic hits of swing and more, in an intimate cabaret or concert style. Both options feature lead vocalist Thomas Armstrong-Robley and classically trained pianist Lucas D. Lynch.

THE TEAM

WOAS Headshot (edit)Thomas Armstrong-Robley (Lead Vocals) : Originally from the north of England, Thomas comes to World On A String with experience in stage shows, corporate entertainment, radio, film and in variety acts. He has performed leading and supporting roles in musical productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, Singing in the Rain, The Sound of Music, Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, Mary Poppins and Rent throughout South-East Queensland. Thomas has performed and hosted at events including the QLD Tourism Awards, Griffith Alumni Awards, Cancer Council Relay for Life, Redcliffe Festival, QUT Mental Health, Burpengary Christmas Spectacular, Sails Festival, Christmas By The Sea and Jetty Fiesta. As well as on-stage work, he is an acting coach for ROAR Performing Arts Academy as well as a director with credits including Cinderella, Grease, The Pirates of Penzance, Wizard of Oz and Like A Metaphor which earned over a dozen awards for its performances on the 2015 Drama Festival circuit. Thomas is a student of musical theatre at the QLD Conservatorium of Music rehearsing for an east coast tour of Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queens as well as recently touring to Atlanta, GA as the director of Into the Woods competing in the 2016 iTheatrics Junior Theatre Festival; his team winning three major awards. Thomas is an avid playwright with successful seasons of his written work including Music of the Night and Love, Loss and Luxury plus workshops planned for his plays Discomfort and Solitary. Thomas is a proud member of Actors Equity.


Lucas D. Lynch
(Musical Director/Piano) : A talented pianist and musical director with classical training at the Queensland of Conservatorium of Music, Lucas has experience as repetiteur for Queensland Ballet and the Queensland Dance School of Excellence, he has musically directed, conducted and played for numerous musicals and cabarets including Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, The Pirates of Penzance and Jesus Christ Superstar. Lucas is currently musical director/conductor for productions including Into the Woods and Beauty and the Beast and as well has recently graduated from the Conservatorium of Music for classical piano, currently he is undertaking his masters and doctorate in piano and conducting.
